on a 69 383 charger what is involved in taking off te water waterpump housing?needing to get the plug out beside the thermastate housing.

remove belts & fan, remove alt & power steering brackets...remove 4 bolts that hold housing to engine

Which plug - the one the arrow is pointing to?

No need to take off the entire housing for that. And why do you want to remove the plug?

AC cars requires that

yes that plug need to add another temp guage,my plug is almost strip out

Is the heater nipple what needs to be removed for clearence, or to remove the alt bracket on AC cars

That plug is usually a biotch to get out whether the housing is off or on the car, heat (a torch) does wonders.
