 :drool5:they usually get 1500-2000 cars but the rainy weekend scared some people off  


I only shot a very few pictures of the thousands of cars there .     Mopars rat rods and stuff that interested me

saturday night the shut down the whole main street  and have a cruise  
My alternator was going out so me missed alot of the cruising  as we had to walk to oreilly and snag another one and install it

 :popcrn: after walking 50 miles and then walking back and changing my alternator  it startered threatening rain and hail  , they moved up the fire works and we high tailed it out of there for home.

Next morning ( sunday ) I had to drive back down in the rain but it was well worth it

  its for sale if anyone needs a crate 350 chevy  air cleaner/carb  to pan complete

I was very lucky and won the grand prize at the ole marais river run car show this weekend
 Its a chevy 350 crate motors complete aircleaner and carb to pan with all tin on the motor , retalls for like 4700.00  summit has them on sale for 3800.00 .  I wouuld like to sell it being a ,mopar only guy.
I would like to sell it for 2800.00  the GM part number is  19210008.  If interested or if you know someone that needs a chevy crate motor shot me and email  thanks stuart



the picture with ian my son and the crate motor is fitting the camera number it as number 866 and that was my winning car entry number that won me the motor  , i better take those numbers and play the lottery   :icon_smile_big:

BTW, nice pics - love the rat rod stuff.  No one worries about part numbers, date codes, etc... unless it's to prove that it DIDN'T get built that way originally.

Are there any cool shows in October that you know of?  I'm thinking about heading over this fall (there's a reason why).  Just curious.

It did indeed start life out as a Poly 318 (the Semi-Hemi), and in this particular truck no less.  I painted the valve covers black wrinkle, because this engine wants to be a Hemi when it grows up.
