We installed 3 sunroofs in the G-Series 71 Daytona, 71 Superbee Charger, 71 Superbird,...............no roof transplants, made a "buck" that "clamps" onto the roof, cut a hole, hammer for several hours, spot weld the tub/ panel assy to the newly formed / rolled edges,......presto!.........factory style installation with out disturbing original roof.................I think you guys know the cars!

I don't have one.  :-\

I was wondering, do the power and manual sunroofs look the same?

From the outside, they  appear the same to some degree, differances on seals, and obviously the addition of the recessed handcrank ,...................however the 71-2 , (electric)I believe is 41"X19"....and the 73-up (manual) is 43"X20"...................The 69/70 (electric) is 39"X19 1/2".................the E-bodies 70-72 use the B-bodie peice as well (actually the B uses the E)

Well, you see Petey,..........the plan was this, you experiment on the 3rd genies, refine the technique, then employe it on the 69/70, wouldn't want to "rune" a fine 2nd genie, or heavens an E-bodie! :icon_smile_big:
