Thought I would share a racing video from Muscle Car Shootout in Brainerd, MN.  I ran a personal best 12.35 sec @ 111mph, but I broke out in the process.  I was dialed in at a 12.40 and I wasn't about to let up on the gas as we crossed the line neck and neck.  Fortunately, I lost to an early 60's Dodge.  One more note, my daughter recorded this video on her Iphone, hense the post name.

  TO another minnesotian,very nice charger and good runs.i always wanted to get up to B.I.R for the muscle car shootout,missed it again this year 
looks like you guys had great racing weather that weekend.
the "ZOO" looks pretty much as i remember it,had some very good and crazy times back there for years at the NHRA nationals.been going for 22 straight years until i missed the last two.
have to make the shootout a must for next year.

My best race was against a trailered camaro , he dialed 12.45 & ran 12.452 , I dialed in at 11.75 & ran 11.78
his reaction was the difference , he had a .553 reaction , I had a .505 & sent him home !!
He came over to congratulate me as I was putting my street tires back on , He was choked LOL

What does dialed mean?  Ive never raced before but i've been to Rock Falls a couple times when i was a kid.

Dial in is your prediction of what your car will run. In bracket racing, you provide an estiamte, the tower locks it in to teh timing clocks, then you try your darndest to run exactly on that number. Whichever car runs closest to their predicted number usually wins.

Basically right about how it works but you cannot "break out" or go faster than your submitted time or you lose. this is unless the other racer also "breaks out" in which the closest to the submitted time wins.
