Hey gang..
Just got my bbody dash knob kit for my Daytona from Mike, the knobs look great Mike !!!!

Anyone have a pictorial or steps of experience before I tackle this? I only want to do this once and I'm a firm believer in tapping into the knowledge of this board..

Thanks in advance..
Troy

the windshield washer button , just pulls off !
dash dimmer switch is going to have to be dismantled ,  rivits need drilling  out
rocker switches are going to be the biggest headache i think !
never removed mine as they were good  , soo i cant be of any help really Troy  !!  all i did was  take the back off the switch & clean contacts & re grease   , but think from memory  some( seen a few different ) of  the the plastic chromed rockers !  are  attached by a roll pin in a blind hole  , in which case need drilling the oppsite side & punching it through  , or there is a rivit  in which case needs grinding or drill the head off  & tapping through !!   ,   :popcrn:

I removed the rocker from the windshield wiper switch.  Used a small drift and, while supporting the switch on a small pin anvil, carefully tapped the retaining pin out.  Came off with no problem.

Thanks guys.. I was able to take care of everything and they look great. I didn't do the dimmer switch since I had a NOS piece in my NOS stash.......Now, onto the new ECS carpet set.......... Daytona's going to be awesome inside... While I'm at it, going to replace one of those pesky black buttons that always pop off. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about... Luckily, I found a complete perfect original set...
