I'm swapping a 400 truck motor into a '66 Charger. I could take the oil pan off the 383 in the car, but wonder if turning the 400 oil pan around would accomplish the same thing.
It looks like it might work. Does anyone know?
Sixty-eights look great and the '69 is fine.
But before the General Lee there was me - Headrope.

If you want my  :Twocents:  and can afford it, look for a baffled pan and get a windage tray. I
learned the hard way that when fooling around a baffled pan used or new will be worth it in
the long run, and you can put it on any big block you every put in a B-Body. Mopar still sells
stock replacement HP baffled pans as well as the Hemi pan, although they might not be
the cheapest in the world, but the stock HP pan is priced OK.
