Has anyone installed one of these?? It has three terminals marked G, one marked + and one marked 8.
What does this all mean!!???

Thank you

Rolling_Thunder

(+) is most likely 12V

(G) = ground

(S) = signal

That's my guess anyway

Hi Rolling Thunder, the s is actually a 8. Also why would they have 3 grounds?? Do they need to be grounded
differently???

Rolling_Thunder

Hmmmm   well I have no idea -  I have never dicked with one before...     I am unsure why there are three ground terminals...     possibly one ground for the clock and one ground for the tach...      the 3rd I have no idea.

the factory Tic Toc Tach used a 12V source as well as a signal wire for the tach...        So I would guess that is what yours needs...        the stock gauge grounded through the gauge cluster --  perhaps they simply labeled the terminals "G" to let the installer know they are grounded to the case?

the "8" should be an "S" - because in no experience I have would an "8" make sense  haha
