well Dave it's obviously the same car.  why you needed to repost, AGAIN, the stupid bill of sale and ancient newsletter shit I can't figure out.  It's in the link you posted as well.

I knew it was going to Canada to a wealthy collector but I didn't know who.  Looks like it's in good company.

The vintage for sale ad showed no mention it ever being a 4 speed that I could recall. I had that info on hand on my computer aswell. If it was still available from a old link but this time it could been just a red X ever delete a picture in photobucket it goes from the post aswell
It had a vinyl roof and sunroof and custom interior mods. The roof skin was replaced at resto.I didnt know it ever sold or if new owner was aware the car debuted on 1972 Adam 12..If I spent that kind of $ I would for sure want its all known past history  :Twocents:

Even cooler, this is one of the only Daytonas to have appeared on the screen! That's right, if you watched the television show Adam-12 in 1972, you may have seen our Daytona! The episode, titled "Who Won," focused on street racers cleaning up their act and getting on the track for their racing fix. Seeing as this Daytona was a well known terror around Los Angeles and Irwindale Dragstrip (and one that couldn't be missed from space) it was a natural fit! Here's a link to the episode: http://www.hulu.com/watch/46171/adam-12-who-won#x-0,vepisode,1. The Daytona appears at the 10:35 in. It's cool to see any old car in a show, but it's amazing to watch an episode with the same car now sitting in our showroom in fully restored glory! We're not sure where Ed Ryan is now, but Ed, if you are out there, and you read this, give us a call. We'd like to fly you out here on our dime for some pictures with your old Daytona. In your honor, everyone at Best of Show will dress up in full 1970's garb and blast some Zeppelin on our 8 track players!

Big Bird

I was parked 2 cars away from him in the "wing car " class with my Green Bird ( took 2 nd. place ) . That Daytona was impeccable , talked to the fellow who did the rstoration for the owner. Extremely well done, exception attention to detail !!!

Ya I saw it. Mixed in with some Superbirds in a row. Could tell it was a Daytona when I saw the painted wing. Didn't think too much of it until I rounded the corner of the car beside it and I could see the door emblem. Remember thinking wow a Hemi. Quickly verified the Vin to confirm the original Hemi status. I talked to the owner and the person who restored it for a bit and I do remember him saying he was from Newfoundland. Very nice car.  :2thumbs: Here's a pic.
