I'll look into the old camper when I go back in 4-6 weeks.  As for the chain, the first thought I had was old cuffs
/shackles.   They are ooooold and hand made.  I was hoping to find the rest of the pocket watch.   There are so many mines out there it's crazy.

thats what i was thinking  handcuffs  :scratchchin:

Fred

On one of our trips to the USA we visited a Ghost Town called Jerome (not too far from Sedona). No ghosts, just plenty of tourists.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I'm familiar with Jerome in Arizona. But never been there. Let me know if you find any old Beer Cans. I collect them. LEON.

That's it for now.     I'm not sure what that deal I found with the chain links is??

A bit? (horse bridle) Lots of different types.......

I've been told it's part of a trace harness from around 1860's to 1880's.

Hi steve, Mrs.skip68 here.....funny you mention the town of Bodie. Thats a favorite of ours. Heck, our dog is named Bodie!  :smilielol: This is a book we found of the town.  :2thumbs:  Mrs.skip68

I went to Bodie with the family in the Mid 80s and it absolutely captured my imagination. One of, if not the most memorable parts of that trip.  :2thumbs: One of these days I will go back out there.
