Mopar Collectors Guide Magazine
For the first time since the eighties, Gary Resnick is bringing his unrestored '69 Daytona out for a special event. This is believed to be the 1st Daytona ever built, and it'll be on display at MCG's Paul Wilson Memorial Moparty at The Slippery Noodle Inn on September 23, 2011. For more info, contact Ken Mosier of The Finer Details at 317-709-3629. This is one Mopar event you really don't want to miss

Name is wrong, but yes i am bringing the daytona to Monster Mopar Weekend. It will be located in Ken Mosiers tent. Our family has owned car since 1978 and this will be the first show it has been at since early 80's. Rob from the MCG has called and invited me to bring the daytona to the party at the Slippery Noodle on friday night.

I know - just thought it was funny.

Sorry - but I have been car show challenged this year - still dealing with basement renovations from a spring flood.

I have missed some great shows this year - I will make up for it next year.

Car looks outstanding. Being that this is the first time I could see the car in daylight it looks incredible. Then again according to #501 it was the first time he had seen the car in daylight too. Learn something new everyday huh.

I read the board that was with the Daytona today and it mentions the odd VIN rivets. My late July built 69 383-2bbl has the same ones. Whats the logic behind them?

maxwellwedge

But it was made from an (relatively) early Charger R/T

MCG makes a point of being highly unencumbered with facts.
