Nothing fancy,
very budget driveway work

but another Mopar back on the road and not crushed/scrapped/parted out, etc.

Thanks!

To be honest, some guys could have done better with some rattle cans than I did,
not too nice looking in the some from closer than ten paces, let alone feet.

But I am in the ,
get it on the road instead of scrapped, crushed, parted out, left to sit and rot segment of the market
vs.
the Barret Jackson side of the house.

I do have to admit I am prideful,
but it stems from getting a car on the road instead of dying off
vs.
having a rare, matching, desireable, or matching car.

Good for you. :2thumbs: I really like the 73 -74 Road Runners. I have a 73 RR that is going the same route as yours. Get it back on the road and enjoy it

Why would anyone part that out????

Well, long story short, '74, automatic, 318 car not roadworthy + the economy.

Nephew got it from original owner, shaved marker lights, antenna, fender indicators, amateur primer spray with a stripe, and it sat for ages.

Some one got it, found 73 Satty interior minus front seats for it, and some unmatched front buckets.  Put in a random LA 318 with mismatched exhaust manifolds, 4bbl intake, and Edelbrock on it to get it running.  Many things like valences, bumpers, just thrown on missing many bolts.  Broken tab grill zip tied on, painted head light bezels, missing some sunroof components, etc.  Wiper motor, horn, hacked, rusty socket rear harness in trunk, etc.  Original peg leg leaking rear end, whining backyard rebuild with shift kit original tranny, etc.
It again sat for ages as an unfinsihed project.

It was for sale for 6k, then 5k, then 4k, then 3k before it gets parted and scrapped.

It was running, driving, stopping on roller tires but barely a yard driver let alone road worthy.
But it had great floors, rails, trunk, etc.

I got a windshield

a passenger mirror

the interior in

the sunroof working

and have been picking  away at it over the past year

horn bench tests but need to get in, wipers in and working, but linkage not adjusted right and too much strain on motor

I modded a 200$ Summit header back exhaust so now I have an exhaust system

I have done stuff like runny, not so great driveway spray paint over poor prep, budget vinyl stripes, cheapo pull over seat covers, rebulit tail light sockets, got all lights working, got a windshield washer resovoir, etc.  Basically just getting it back on the road so that things can fail and need to be replaced.  I also plan to clean, rust converter, and paint underside.  I put in budget insulation/proofing, etc.
it has some ticking lifters on the driver's side, and some shavings on the oil plug magnet.  So that is just a matter of time.
