1973 Roadrunner. Mostly original car along with rust issues. Needs most metal panels, quarters, floors, trunk, fenders. Interior needs carpet, headliner, dash pad, seats are like new. Interior is Green bucket seat console AT.Original 400 engine and trans, runs decent. Car is mobile. Would appreciate your comments. Thanks. Having trouble uploading pic's. will try again.

Based on what I have seen, $4 - $5k, unless you have a color option combination someone is after, then a few $$ more.

Just so your picture in another thread.   It doesn't look like it has all the rust issues you mentioned..... Give more details.  White interior?   More pictures would help also.

Thanks, interior is dark green. Not the most flattering, but different. Body color isn't an aggressive color that jumps out at you either.

believe me, the rust issues are there.

with all the sheet metal being produced I don't worry as much about pannels.  Frame rails would be my biggest concern :Twocents:

if the car is up north, it aint to bad. have seen people start off with alot worse. i take it you want to take this car home with you?  id say to me it would be worth 3500. it'll take some work. big block car though. maybe i'm a little low.

Is it a real RR ?    How complete is the interior ?   is it a bucket seat & console car, or a bench seat column shift car ?   what shape is the interior ?   what kind instrument panel does it have Ralley or Std, individual gauges, water, oil, fuel, tach, clock or idiot lights, etc. ?   how good is the glass & seals ?   Does it have rust on the torsion bar rear mounting area at the trans cross member ?  Does it have rust at the shock mounts at the body front & rear ?  does it have rust at the frame rails front or rear check carefully ?   Does it have rust in the lower corners under of the windshields front & rear under the trim pieces ?   Does it run ? how complete is the engine ?  Is it a numbers matching car ?   How good is the chrome  ? (it looks pretty good in the photos) , Is it in a state that uses salt on the roads in the winter ?  (RUST) , What rear end is in the car ?   what trans is in the car ?    is the trans any good ?   does it have wheels & tires that come with it & what type if yes ?      I could keep on going, but these are just a few things that can determine the price to buy it for, if nothing else, if it's too rusty, it still may be worth it as a good parts car, the sum of the parts could be $5K

numbers matching, car runs really good, bucket seat console, rallye dash with tach, rallye wheels, real road runner. frt frame rails are rusted but easily repairable, rears are good, torsion mounts are good.8 3/4 sure grip with 3.55

That's a pretty unusual color combination. I can't say that I have ever seen another like it. It also looks fairly unmolested with mostly original parts intact.
So, the jury says you should buy it!

Yep I would agree, never remember seeing that color combo... looks like needs some rust repair but sounds doable in the $3K-$5K range, you wont get hurt too bad... It looks like mostly there that's a big deal... I live in Calif., so muscle cars aren't very cheap here, a basket case, rust bucket, run in those price  ranges even...

Car was kept original all it's life, no headers, intake, etc. Was never cut up for racing or whatever. all trim is in great shape. Would be a major project to repair rust issues, that's all. Only 1970 Mopar mentioned prices. 3k-5k is a big range. I suppose with the money a guy will spend to repair it, that range isn't a big deal. What would it be worth all fixed up.(Rotisserie restore, new panels, new interior, new paint, drivetrain rebuild)?

more pics. looking to buy.

In this market, depending on how thorough of a restoration, I would say $25k would be a good estimate.   It does have  interesting, probably limited, color combination to it.

I have seen totally mint ones going for $30k.

Are you selling this?

Unless your doing all the work yourself, you will spend probably $15k-$25k to restore it... If your paying someone else to do a bunch of work it may not be cost effective, they aren't exactly the most popular year of RR's (they are still cool in my mind though), so if your doing it for resale or to make a profit, you may want to think hard about the cost vs. reward aspects, if your doing it because it's the body style you love or want to keep, than it really dosen't matter how much you spend (to an extent), if it is what you want, then buy it, restore it & keep it (as long as you can get it for a decent workable price)...

-----I have seen totally mint ones going for $30k-----

For a basic option 73 Roadrunner? In todays market ?

IMO, $25-30K for a 1973 anything  is huge stretch

IMO , I would not give more than $1500-$2000 the way it sits.
Even then your going to be upside down in it when it's done , unless you do can EVERYTHING yourself

71green go

Based on what I see....$3500
