I pulled a truck Dana from a 72 Dodge truck that I just scrapped. I'm thinking of building it for the Charger. Today I stripped the axles, brakes and ends from the axle. Are ALL Dana 60 axles equipped with axle tubes this thick? This one has 3 inch diameter tubes with wall thickness around 3/8 inch! Thats amazing. It really makes the 8 3/4 housing look like a slant six spec axle!

My dana 44 has 1/2" thick tubes, and the 60 is the same.  Tim
