Has anyone bought and fitted one of these yet? I'd like a review of how it was. I am trying to determine if I should put the work into saving the original or go with the AMD. I prefer original parts, but my original is pretty bent.

I bought one from Jeff at 521 restorations (nice discount) but my car is far from test fitting anything right now.
My original valance has a few dents and it would cost more to repair then the cost for a new one from Jeff's place.

I can't speak to AMD's valances specifically but based on the reviews of all their other products I think it's safe to assume they would work well. I bought a Goodmark front valance for my '68 and it didn't fit very good so we ended up fixing the original valance. This was before AMD started making all the Charger panels they make now.

That being said, all these cars have individual quirks so it's safe to assume they will all need at least a little tweaking; which I'm sure you already know.

I have a AMD front Valance Ive set it in place but havent bolted it because im missing a piece on my drivers side to bolt it too its that metal piece the bolts to the fender that holds the valance at the back, but holding it in place it looks like it fits fine and it lines up well with the passenger side piece that i do have

Have you checked bolt alignment or fitted the signal lenses yet? A lot of this repro stuff looks ok at a glance, and then the fun starts....

did hear , that the first lot of repop front panels  that came out  ( not the AMD stuff )  the two turn signal housing mounting screw holes  on the under side , were not counter sunk !!  , would of thought AMD would have correct that problem   :yesnod:

I haven't attached mine yet, but have set it in place. Everything seems to look great!! Though it helps that I have two new AMD fenders going on mine too. I would HOPE that their valance lines up well with their fenders. I would kind of expect them too!! I'd be a little disappointed if they didn't!!
