The wife and I had machinations of making Oregon's opening game against LSU @ Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, TX, but the only tickets left are standing room only for $50.00.  :-\

Tickets for the first 30 or so rows were $1500.00 - $1700.00 when they were available.  :RantExplode: :rotz:

Lame to say the least, but no matter, GO DUCKS!  :2thumbs:

In most cases when an SEC team plays a Pac12, Big10, Big12, etc. I like to see the SEC team win (except Auburn, of coarse). That being said in the SEC west LSU is probably the Tide's biggest threat, and I would love to see LSU drop the first game, so.....GO DUCKS!!

I got a pair of tickets to the Alabama v. Arkansas game on September 24th. They are on the 35 yard line, 5 rows up behind the Alabama bench. I either wanted to see Alabama/Arky or Alabama/LSU, and the LSU tickets are already pretty high. I got the 2 Arky tickets for $425.

Hoping for a better Longhorn season.....  :boogie:

Although I haven't read much on Texas, I think they should have a better season this year.
Troy do you think Texas A&M will be leaving the Big12 and come over to the SEC? Just wondering what the buzz is around the state of Texas about it? All the talk radio around here suggest its gonna happen, the SEC is just buying time to find another team to join the conference also (maybe Clemson, VA Tech, ???).

I know I wasnt the one being asked, but I think it's going to happen in the next year or two. A&M is often overshadowed by Texas and the SEC would love to get a foothold in that state. But as you said, they also need to poach another team to keep a semblance of balance between the SEC West and SEC East.

The way it's been talked about over here, I think it will.. Not sure why the big bailing out of the BIG-12 has occurred, but if they do, then the BIG-12 will be a shadow of it's once stronger days..  The Big-12 will turn into some boring conference with the same couple of teams always winning.

Isn't it already? It's always either Texas and OU, with the occasional Cinderella thrown in....

Well A&M sent a letter to the Big12 announcing they plan on leaving the conference yesterday.

No, Nebraska has always been a force to reckon with along with Texas A&M on occasion. Kansas State has always been pretty good along with Oklahoma State..

Did anyone else watch the TCU at Baylor game last night, un-ranked Baylor upset #14 TCU, they almost came back from 24pt down... Great game as long as you not a TCU guy that is...

Unfortunately they lost big...   My Ducks 20 - 40 LSU Tigers   I'm so bumbed, start out with a loss just like 2 years ago at Bosie State maybe we can still go to the Rose Bowl... National Championship is out the window...

Yep, I was was sorta hoping the Ducks would pull it off, LSU is Alabama's biggest threat in the SEC west, and I was hoping LSU could start the season off with a loss (I'm really hoping Alabama, and South Carolina meet in the SECCG, I want a rematch for last year's loss to SC). I hate it Georgia didn't win against Boise State. What about Auburn, they had to pull off a miracle to win against Utah State......looks like it might be a long season for last year's NC (hehehehe).

I was so pissed about the OU & LSU game Oregon giving up the ball fumbling, for 20 or so of the points, I put the wrong score it was OU 27 - LSU 40, oh well

Yeah, it's like it was totally different team after the half.  :RantExplode:

That crap with the fumbles and the penalties just killed 'em.

But like you said, oh well.  :shruggy:
