For better braking is there a high friction pad? Stock calipers, 11 inch sloted rotors ,73 Charger

Chryco Psycho

Raybestos rivited premium pads

I found semi metalics Raybesto's at Rock auto. Seamed like just a slight upgrade from the standard organics. Is there a better set?

Firm feel has carbon metalics anyone use those?

440

Organics are terrible, they have a really soft feel and a high ware rate, but are easy on rotors/drums. I will not buy them again.

I've always been happy with heavy duty semi-metallic pads for stopping power, wear rate and ease on components. Some of the more aggressive pads like Ferodos stop well but tear the crap out of the rotors/drums.

Try finding some asbestos pads if you can, they really do work the best..

Unfortuantly, achieving wide pad selection may require an upgrade to Wilwood calipers. I also don't think there is a bracket adapter out there to put Wilwoods calipers on the 11" rotor. But, you could step up the 11.75 rotors, using the ARE adapters at Mancini, and get better leverage and better compounds all in swap.

Looked at those. Which Willwood caliper? They come with pistons up to 1.75" Is bigger , better?
