Good camera work too, not just a couple of angles or on board/guard shots.
Would have been a lot of fun making it. Planning a clip with a mate of mine for a biggish ( maybe 50 cars)  Mopar Run we are doing in September, quite looking forward to it.

Felt like I was 11 years old again. I looked forward to Friday night more than the average 11 year old kid because I couldn't wait to see what the General was gonna do this week. I'm sure I'm not the only person who would like to have a second Charger just to drive it like that.

That was pretty good i was expecting them to trash the GENERAL Im glad they didnt!! people should make more vids like this  :2thumbs:

guy in the t/a looks like he cant drive and is holding back on straight shots and guy in the general (who both sup to be stunt men) keeps crossing his arms while steering which is a no no while stunt or fast driving...decent video though

You're only talking about the add on pieces. That actual car was used on the original TV show, and rebuilt later in life.

Thanks for posting two awesome cars but I find it hard to beleave the poll numbers are that close.the T/A is nice but it's no way nearly as nice as the general :drool5:

What rooks said is 100% real. I know the guy who owns that very General Lee, it is in fact one of the real tv General Lee's. It was found as an old beat up race car that was painted over if I remember right for in a movie just after Dukes was canceled back in 1985. I believe it had #43 on the side. But I do know for certain that, that General is in fact a real deal General Lee that was used on the series.

JT01

The reason it has the early style pushbar and side marker lights it is said to be a early season car from what they found. Heres a link to his site www.lostgenerallee.com

7thGENERAL

ah thats the one the smith bros redid..i think the only thing orig on the car is the cab i know every panel was replaced but still cool i guess..i know the new owner repainted it and stuff after he bought it so i guess thats why it looks so incorrect

No Marks first one is the one he redid after he got it this one in the video Mark had the Smith Brothers do it just like if it was back on the show. Looks correct just like the early Generals. This is one of the ones that was on the show that didnt have the rollbar in it.
