The AAR Toyotas were the dominant car in the last years of IMSA GTP.   I saw them run at Daytona 24 in 1993.

Love them, Grand Touring Prototypes mega-mega-mega buck cars...  I also loved the old "Can Am" cars of the 60's thru early 70's, Big block fuel injected aero & wedge shaped down force style cars that were fast as hell...

Love them; the only problem is they're shaped like a wing and would go airborne at the slightest provocation.

Still would own one if I got the slimmest chance...

GTP cars were full ground effect and were capable of generating staggering amounts of downforce.
