Possible derelict Charger project?

Hi Guys, very new to all this so go easy

I'm in the U.K and do quite a lot of work out in rural areas and one of my jobs takes me past an old barn where the below picture is. To me it looks like a 69 Charger and I want, very badly, for a project. I love these cars but the thing is I am about as novice as it comes so I am unsure if I'd be biting off a bit more than I can chew especially being in the U.K. I am an the verge of making the landowners an offer though and have had a little look at the car, white interior looks good, the bodywork is in good nick as well with a bit of rust on the wheel arches and some patching up jobs. Although I haven't looked at it in detail yet I'm just trying to guage opinion as to whether I should snatch it up (good price?) or save myself the torment, though I will not be a happy boy leaving it where it is.

All advice/comments gratefully received!  :2thumbs:

I'll try and get another pic up when I go past again

Cheers!

Bob.

Oh Lord have mercy, I'm going to have to make this car mine I think.  :drool5:

Many thanks for the welcome and suggestions, after having a look at the pics, definately a '71 SE.

Ballpark restoration costs for something like that? or is that the proverbial "how long is a piece of string" question?

twodko

Without question Bob! By the by, welcome to the best Charger site known to exist. If you have the cash the string will be short. If you're like the rest of us, you'll be restoring the car a length of string at a time. Done let that car get away my friend, abscond with it toot sweet!
