I think this is the best place to post this thread, if not please let me know moderators and I'll report elsewhere.

Hey all, finally got around to uploading pics of my car in it's current state.  I'll get more in the near future.  Please take a look and let me know if you see anything out of wack or just wrong.  Comments and suggestions are abundantly welcome.

In short the car is a 72 SE Brougham, 400, auto slapstick, white interior and full white top.  She runs and has close to zero rust.  She has a 1in. x 1-1/2in. hole in the river side floor that has been patched terribly, but potentially an easy fix, plus a small 1in. x 1in. area in the passenger rear quarter the magnet doesn't stick to, otherwise she is a solid garage kept car her whole life.  I'm inquiring as to the backstory, but thus far I think the last owner purchased it from a guy in Joliet Illinois, but the trail dies there.

Since this car came with it's original drivetrain I think I will restore to stock (mostly).  Currently it has a 67 383 HP Intake manifold on it, which I will replace for a later model 400 (anyone got one?).  It also has a 4brl Thermoquad (originally a 2brl) which I still need to find out what year it's from.  I think I'll keep the Thermoquad, rebuild it and relace that Intake Manifold for a spreadbore so I don't have that spacer plate in there.  This way the hood will have clearance to close.

It also has an aftermarket Radiator in it currently as the one ine the pictures was replaced.  I kept the Black one and it turns out it's from a C body.  All it needs is to be cleaned and recored and its good to go, let me know if anyone is interested in it, I'll post the numbers.

Enjoy and I'll post more pics as I get them.

Welcome to the site, that's a nice GB5 72! Like the white interior and it appears to be in great shape. I'll be following along with your resto as I am slowly restoring my '72 SE Brougham. Good luck. :2thumbs:

Oh man, great to see someone doing the same thing I am.  Is there a link to a thread on your car?  If so I'd love to see it.

Just posted some more pics, mostly interior, but some others.

Just got my Rally Wheels today from Specialty Wheels.  The Wheels and Center Caps are immaculate.  The Trim Rings are too for the most part.  2 have imperfections in them, but I'll just get those swapped out.  Otherwise here they are.  So far so good, Wheels look great.

Hey all, just got the new tires on the new wheels and gottem on the car.  Unfortunately the pics are a little gross because it was dark outside and I was indoors, but enjoy.  I'll grab some more prolific pictures when its light out and i get her a little more washed.

Also, I can't say enough good things about Specialty Wheels, no problems what so ever.  They make a great product and I look forward to enjoying these new wheels.
