A buddy who set up our weekly cruise-in at our local Sonic has what he says is kind of an oddball '68 Dart.

He's tried running the numbers, but hasn't had any luck with some of the options.

As he's told me it's a factory slant 6 w/3 on the tree and is a post car.

Any chance someone here can decode the tag for me?

I know he'd really appreciate it, and so would I.

I can provide larger pix of the fender tag if needed.

Thanks in advance.

There isn't much to decode! That tag is nearly empty.

Seems to be a Dart 2dr post, 170 slant six, 3-speed manual on the column, scheduled build date December 20 (1967), 3.23 open rear axle ratio, light blue split bench seat interior, and Bright Blue Metallic exterior. No vinyl top, no trim, and no other options codes (A/C, radio, etc.).

Nothing too funky about that car. There were thousands built that way in 1968. AND 1969, AND 1970, AND.....

My own post '68 is almost the twin to that one. 170 S/6, 3 on the tree, peg leg "Baby" rear, Only difference is mine was That funky "Butterbean" yeller color with sh*t brown interior. They do make good canidates for 505 C.I. strokers and a load of Nitrous though.
