I think it should be a fun ride, till something breaks.

Never looked into it but are there any engine swaps that are common to this car?

Great looking 928 I wish I had the money to afford/maintain one.
Engine swaps, I haven't looked into whats popular but if I were to do one it would be an SR20, RB25, or a 2JZ.

Cool car.
Awesome handling with the perfect weight distribution.   :yesnod:, As stated it will be expensive to fix, but most specialty cars are. My advice...get a shop manual and become a Porsche expert. It will be a fun car to drive! :2thumbs: For my money, sure beats the hell out of a Valiant...

i saw a LS1 swapped into a 944 at a show once, very cool but the trans and rearend is a weak point, similar to the idea of putting a 408 small block into a Conquest TSI
its your car do what you wnat with it, maybe even paint it mauve if ya have a hankering to..................... :scratchchin: :scratchchin: :scratchchin: :scratchchin:

Nice Car, WRONG WEB SITE. :Twocents:
No it's not. This is the "Car Guys Discussion" area - which was created specifically for these kinds of threads. If you don't want to see then don't look and if you can't say anything nice then don't post. When you start your own web site you can make the rules. I get a little tired of seeing people run off because a vocal minority disagrees with how they choose to spend their own money.

I agree let the kid have some fun  :2thumbs: take that negative stuff to the porsche site

hey cool, I had one that same year, non turbo. It was a fun daily driver and thats about it. Top speed was 120 and that was all it had. It looked odd parked next to my charger collection at the time, but still fun, enjoy.
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

The hard-core Porsche guys turn their noses up to the front motor cars, especially the 924 which started life as a Volkswagen.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
