Noisey...Check
dirt/rust blowing from vents...Nope for us it was acorn shells, at some time it was home to squirrels

Thanks for the storys.  I told the wife about them....she laughed and said at least she wasn't the only one!  She actually suggested taking the charger out on our anniversary to a nice dinner....maybe some of the crap that blew out hit her in the head and knocked some sense into her!

My wife is in no hurry to ride in the Charger when it is restored (getting closer now) to it's former glory. I will say there should not be any dead flora or fauna blowing on her thru the vents but............ gas smells, noise, heat......maybe!  She will not want to drive it, I am pretty sure, but I think I can get her to ride in it every now and then. :icon_smile_big:

It will not be taken out daily but it will see the light of day on pretty weekends and the rare, occasional carshow. Way back in the day when I bought it (mid '70's) I drove it a lot and was always getting pulled over to just look at it. I can imagine that happening even more now! :icon_smile_big:

My wife is the same.  It smells, loud, yada yada yada.  This is why I still have my rag top because this one is "different" she says.  She's not in it much, but when she is, it's "tolerable". 

The 68 Charger is really loud, so she won't be in this one... :scratchchin:
