That is amazing. They don't say when she bought it or how long she's had it?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

It would be nice to think I could still be driving my charger at 101 years old,but I think the only think I would be driving is my wife crazy. :lol:

I found a story and interview with her about it, She bought the car in 1949.  She actually takes it and other cars she owns to car shows!  Here is a link to the story.

Back in 1972 I saw an old car sitting in one of the repair bays at Harolds Carburator in Fort Wayne, Indiana so I stopped in.  The manager told me the car was still owned by the wife of the original owner.  :yesnod: The car was a 1925 Lincoln roadster. It had a V 8 engine and an all aluminum body and she was still driving it!  She told him that a representative of the Lincoln Mercury division of Ford Motor Company found out about the car and had offered her $30,000 and a brand new Lincoln Mark IV in exchange for her car.  She told him she didn't want to trade since she didn't know how to start one of those new fangled cars.  This was coming from a lady who in order to start her 1925 Lincoln had to do the following.

1. Insert ignition key and turn clockwise.
2. Reach under the dashboard and turn the gasoline petcock on. (The car had no fuel pump, because the gasoline simply ran down into the engine by gravity. If you didn't shut the petcock off and the float in the carb was down all your gasoline simply ran out the carb and onto the floor.)
3. Pull choke out and turn the knob clockwise 1/2 turn to richen the air/fuel mixture.
4. Step on the clutch and place the gear shift lever in neutral.
5. Retard the spark by pulling the lever on the left side of the steering column (pull down.)
6. Advance the throttle by pulling the lever on the right side of the steering column (pull down.)
7. Step sharply on the starter button protruding from the floor just to the right of the accelerator.
As soon as the engine starts, you must immediately advance the spark, reduce the throttle, and shove the choke in 1/2 way until the engine is warm enough to stay running on its own!  Once it was running smoothly push the choke rod all the way in and turn 1/2 way CCW.

How to start the Mark IV. Mash the accelerator to the floor one time. Insert the key and turn clockwise. When the engine starts go.

The lady has to be dead by now. I don't know if her family ever sold the car to FOMOCO
