Took my car out for a drive yesterday and came home later than expected, good thing really as i found my lights in the dash are not working except for the clock/Tach  :shruggy: :shruggy:
I had a quick look underneath and everything looks fine... What could it be? :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:

If the gauges are also not working (assuming they were before  ;) ) then it is a grounding issue. Tighten all your loose nuts....

Don't rule out your reostat if everything else checks out.  There's a (coiled wire) variable resistor as well as other contacts inside the switch that can lead to the same problem (no dash lights) if they're not properly lubed and conducting etc...
