Thought I ask around if anyone recognize this Charger. It's for sale in northern Sweden and was imported here in early 2008. I'm interested in buying it. It has VIN XS29L8B399802. Currently I don't have more info about the car, but later this week I will know what's on the fender tag and have more pictures and info. Perhaps any of you guys here is the previous owner or recognize the car?

Was that one restored in Gnarp?

Got the data from the fender tag today. I like codes and numbers...  :icon_smile_big:

Some obvious things caught my interest:

1) The interior color have been changed to black. Nice, but not original. Wonder if they dyed the seats and panels or replaced them?
2) The AC radiator seems not to be mounted?
3) Can anyone tell from experience if the PP1 color seems to match the picture? To mee it seems a bit bright but I might be wrong.
4) Stripe color is now black.

I will check the car in person, should be interesting! It looks quite nice!

No, I don't think so, the seller told me he imported it in this condition.

:scratchchin: You're right, doesn't look like a good routing...

Whoa... red with a black top, white stripe and green interior? PP1 red is orangey - but it's hard to judge from the pictures since digital cameras usually have problems with accurately duplicating red shades.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Here is my old 68 that was PP1.  The last one is in the shade at the body shop.

:o   :scratchchin:

Yea, Red car with Green interior? That is seriously out of place. Even more so if you consider it wasn't an ordered car. (Not a u1 car)

I wonder if that F is incorrect. Way too weird.

I had the same thought, I haven't read the fender tag myself, but will inspect the car in person within a few days so then we will have the answer. However, since the upper door frame paint is also coded as GREEN on the fender tag, I would say the green F is probably correct. If the door frame paint code would have been black, I would also say without doubt the F is wrong. Nevertheless, a nasty color combo, green interior, red paint, black top and white stripes... :) The car is probably much better off with the interior color changed to black.

Pull the upper door panel and see if the pad has been dyed?

I have seen a real red body/green guts 68 that was unrestored. Also have seen a 69 medium green exterior with red guts unrestored. I refer to them as "Christmas Chargers".
