Well another 1,000 mile road trip under the belt for the year.

It was a great weekend and got to meet some really nice people.
It was also great to see Bryan "A383Wing" and Rose again and to spend the weekend together.

Here are my pictures from the weekend.
pace yourself there are 125 pics.

It was a good turn out and I'm happy to report that I recieved "Best Mopar Modified" and "Best Mopar Overall".
Best Mopar Stock went to the 73 Yellow Charger parked next to me.

This was a participant judged event so needless to say it was not without controversy and a lot of bitching about vehicles not being in the correct class.
Example: The Green Chevrolet Pickup with the tear drop trailer was in the Orphan's Stock class.

The trophies were made by Ideal Steel, Inc

I would say they were all made on a water jet and then power coated.
Very cool and unique. A nice change from the standard trophies.

Charger is running well but does have a few issues that I need to work on.
I think I have another exhaust leak and I found out that durring my trip up hiway 1 the rock I ran over ripped off my fly wheel cover.
I averaged right around 17mpg. The best I got on one leg was 18.4mpg whih was on flat land with the AC running. The mountain driving usually killed it.

Congratulations all around to you and your beautiful Charger. Sorry to hear about the rock and your flywheel cover but you can fix it , I am sure.

The pics were very nice and it looks like a nice variety of cars there.

All weekend with Bryan???  You're a better man than me.   ;)

Funny, we just came from Danville, Ca.  Big soccer tournament my daughter & the club went down to.  Luckily it never got much past 80 while we were there.

Thanks for the pix.  That's a clean, sharp ride you have.  :2thumbs:
