According to the comments of the video, it's behind the front bumper. I doubt you could run it much more than an idle and still keep it cool with a small radiator.

I've never been close enough to a mini to know how they are designed, as in are they a front engine, front wheel drive car? Rear engine?  I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and call it real, because it "could" be done.

Years ago, I worked with a guy who put a 426 Hemi into an original 1966 Austin Mini.

I guess "putting it in" might be the wrong description. It was more like "covered the engine with the body of a Mini".

They are front engine, front drive. I'm sure it's rear drive now. It's quite the feat of engineering to get that baby in there.

here is a V8 old mini that is still frontwheeldrive. only a rover engine, basically a buick 215cid.

It is, look at the pics in the other links...valve covers and the front of the block ID it as a Gen III.

It could be real I think there have been stranger things... I knew a guy who had a "Morris Minor" coupe' late 50's-early 60's era with a Blown 427 SOHC ford Hemi way bigger engine dimensions than the Chrysler's, street driven not much but still... talk about, 12lbs shit in a 10lbs package...
