Radiator fitment problems?

I am working on my 68 Charger and have a 440 engine from a 77 New Yorker. I changed the front motor pumps & pulleys to match the 68. I'm thinking of using a 4 row Champion radiator, but am not sure it will fit in the engine bay. I was told that  the 4 row is 2-3/4 inches thick at the core and 3-1/8 thick at the tank so there may be some fitment problems with the stock fan and A/C compressor.
Would a 3 row fit better? What is the recommended size rad for that size motor? I have the original fan from the 77 New Yorker, but no shroud to estimate where the radiator will mount and how it will fit.  :shruggy:
I have seen evil! I have seen horror!
I have seen the unholy maggots which feast in the dark recesses of the human soul!
I have seen all this. But until today, I have never seen such a pain in the ars car like this 68 Charger!
