This is only like a 45 minute drive from me! I absolutely hate that I'm leaving for Colorado that morning, might try to incorporate it into the trip anyways. Not that I could buy anything, but I'd love to see the cars and it will be interesting to see what kind of $$ some of them go for . . .

I wonder how accurate the list is. I didn't see that many 69's in it and 2 1968's (not 1).

Good point. Though I'm sure that it's more the fact that they didn't take pictures of all of the cars. As far as the two '68s, who knows

I am hoping that someone from this site went to that auction and got some Chargers (or at least saw what they went for).  Please let us know if you did go and what you got.  I had found that information in a regional KS ad paper (for the middle of KS) and was not expecting to see that in there.  Guess it was not as well advertised as I thought it was.....

I went to the auction and bought the gold 68 RT charger.  I was not aware it was an RT by the add.  There were so many parts on those cars.  From the looks some of the look picked over.  The interiors of those cars were filled with parts from other cars in the yard.  Those cars in my opinion were given away.  There were only 3 second gens for sale  one was pulled by the owners son. There was a 72-74 cuda that sold for 200.00.  Most the cars went for between 125.00 to 550.00 on the parts car side.  I didn't watch all the cars sell.  There was a 69 plymouth GTX 4spd car that sold for 400.00 and that is not a typo.  I spoke with the guy who bought it.  The called it a 69 satellite during the bidding.  He decoded part of the tag and said it was a 440 4sp car that would have came with a dana 60 ( That was missing).  However the body was OK and it had so many trim and nick knack parts left on the car.  It even had the GTX stuff on the back of the trunk.  I paid the 550.00 for the 68 RT.  It had all the numbers with the car (fender tag included).  I found a woodgrain wheel in the trunk still on a 4sp column.  The center console was still in the car with all the chrome lights and trim. 3 bucket seat cores.  A perfect uncut radio bezel with the radio still hooked up.  All side marker light.  Rear bumper/3 tail lights/2 back glasses/gauges and the list could go on and on.  The 70 charger went for 175.00 and there were enough parts on that thing to cover your cost.  Then a 69 RR 4spd car sold for around 200.00 and still had the roadrunner steering wheel in the car.  If I was more prepared to transport I would have bought  a few more cars.  Most of the E bodies had complete interiors.  Kind of windy on the subject tonight, I just could not believe the deals that were there.

photon-  I believe you about the deals, as I have been to those type of sales in the past (Rushville, NE back in 1998 was a very good one, 200+ mopar cars and trucks, most under $500).  Man, I wish I could have went to this one, but it would have been pointless just to watch them sell.....

Unfortunately I didn't find out about the auction tell the night before. Told the wife if I had knew, I would have been doing something else that day. I rationalized not being able to go because I figured things would go high. Now I'm just feeling disappointed.

Well, I didn't end up leaving for CO until about 2:00 pm the day of the auction, so needless to say I missed it. Again though, I would have been one of the people who only could have watched them sell. Really though, at those prices, I could have gone home with a Charger if I had the transportation.

Thanks for posting photon. I really hate that I missed this one.

No conspiracy here, I did not know about the auction until the day I posted about it.  It was a busy week for me (started a new semester teaching), so I was distracted and did not look at the ad paper earlier than I did.  Had I known about the auction earlier, I would have posted on it earlier....
