Tying to Link Avatar - What am I doing Wrong

I go to the area in my profile to paste the link to photobucket where my image is located. After i paste the URL and click "Change profile" at the bottom...the area to enter the link is gone and there is no Avatar pic...only the dredded red x......what am I doing wrong?????

I even tried to copy the URL from a spot in the forum where I upload a pic.......same thing happens.

HELP!!!!!!

I fixed your link but the image is too wide. Remember, this thing has to fit under your name on the left so it can't be half a page wide.

It's visible but it's still too wide. Read the whole thread about sizes (the other one you posted in).
