Paint masking line?

HI!
I wonder if the factory had a paint masking line between the cowl and down into the engine bay?

No. They were painted all together at one time.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I like to hardline paint "joints" along an outside corner preferably or inside if you have to. On the cowl go inside and then tape down the inner fender seam.. that way the hood covers it. Sometimes you can hardly tell.

could try  wet flatting & polishing it back to the edge !  curve see what it looks like ! although don't always work as good with base & clear
