Is there decent Riverside video?

Is there any kind of full length video of one of the great Riverside races commercially available?  I've often wondered how it compared to the Trans-Am of 1970.

No full length GN videos that I am aware.

T/A races in 1970 were 200 miles, give or take.    The shorter Riverside GN race in June was double that distance at 400 miles.  So I don't know that you can really compare them.   The Motor Trend 500 GN race in January probably had more big names and teams capable of winning than the T/A race.   In Trans-Am, if you take away the Cuda and Challenger which were first year programs and not really in the game,   your T/A players really were Bud Moore and Penske, and sometimes the Camaro - but mainly the first two.    Between the Mustang and Javelin it certainly was take no prisoners.   The shorter race distance would lend itself to that, not to mention that Jones and Donohue didn't really like each other.

Riverside could be run 3 different ways:  long course, short course and NASCAR course.  I believe the Trans-Am guys ran the long course and the Can-Am boys ran the short course.  I think most of you can figure out who ran the NASCAR course. :eyes:

Might make a true comparison a bit difficult.

I think I was just sitting around imagining the mid size cars turning left and right and duking for the win like the pony cars.  I couldn't recall ever seeing video of one of those races.  Thanks all.

thats odd all mine came in a black pebble grain cases ( similar to a charger dash ;D) with a white label with what races were on what tape  & an actual black & white sticker on the cassette , also there was a advert at the beginning of each tape saying rare sports films  etc etc with a pink  screen
