Is the facelifted new Charger selling quicker than the 06 ones?

It seems to me like I see the newest version all over the place and when the first of the sedan versions came out I never saw them at all for a long time after they were out.  Has anyone else experienced this?  When I never saw the 06 around I thought it could have been regional and this could be the same.  I'm also now wondering though if the first time out the car just looked so generic and boring to me that I couldn't pick it out from all the other Euro sedan wannabe's.  Maybe the facelift added some distinction to the car to set it apart?

At ALLPAR they are saying that Availability is somewhat limited for the refreshed models i've seen a half Doz. 
I really like that they finally got around to refreshing the LXs.

The new Charger does not spend much time on the lots here in metro-Detroit. One day there are 3 on the lot, then 2 days later they're gone. I'm sure it varies depending on where you live, but they seem to be very popular. Although I, like many, would love for it to have been a 2 door, I understand the new Charger completely. I had an 08 with a Hemi and it is everything a Charger should be with 2 exceptions. It is designed so well at this point that you don't even notice the extra pair of doors. In the modern era there has to be a cool family sedan with an attitude (like the original) and the '11 Charger is it. My kids had the same affection for the 08 that I have for my 68. As the Chargers of days gone by become unobtanium for today's youth the new Charger will become their car of passion. "The dream car that had to be built" lives on and this latest effort is far more successful than the ones in the late 70's and mid 80's.

I bought a 2011 Durango R/T, fully loaded in Blackberry.  Absolutely outstanding.  The fit and finish is beautiful, interior super comfortable and the 5.7 Hemi gives it enough power to pull respectively and get out of its own way.  It's my daily driver.  All the chrome trim is...get this...REAL METAL...not chromed plastic.  If this is what being owned by an Italian company means, Chrysler is in good shape.  Oh...and I'm averaging 20MPG.

So, you like the RAM truck front end then, eh?  Sorry, but the two biggest things still wrong with the '11 sedan are:

1: it's a sedan

2: the front end looks like a truck, and not a pretty truck.....

Why feel weird?  A nice looking vehicle is a nice looking vehicle no matter what it is.  Dodge has done its homework with this one.  Keep bugging the wife...you'll be glad you did.

That Durango really looks nice

Thanks!  The only things I've done to it are tinted the windows, cut off the back resonators and put 4" Magnaflow tips on it.  Gives it a nice growl.  Maybe some wheels and tires down the road, but so far I'm very pleased.  The back-up camera and adaptive cruise control are awesome options.

I have also not seen a new Durango in the wild.  They look good.  They seemed to have toned down the whole cartoon / characterture (sp?)  look in the entire line-up.

(which will make the lessen the need to refresh the car two days after introduction)

There is a kit car outfit that makes body panels you bond on to make a camaro look like a 57 Chevy (Belaro) or a T-bird look like a 40's Ford.  Maybe they can make some panels to make the front of the new Charger look like a 69!  The back end looks nice enough already.

Did anyone really like the old Chrysler 300 grill with the big cross on it enough to want it brought back to be the face of every vehicle in the line up for twenty years?

I like the look. Yeah, I also like the look of the Ram truck line. I have owned a 2002, a 2006 and a 2007.

The '11's definitely have some upgrades, especially with the interior & creature comforts.
But, I might be one of the few that actually like the previous models compared to the '11's.

 The proportions are certainly better i like that for sure.. but the chance of DODGE selling both a two door chally and a two door charger are zilch,.. put another way, if you had to choose which two door would be sold - would you rather they keep and update the Challenger or introduce a new Two-door Charger?..

Having driven a new challenger and loved every minute of it, I would definitely choose a two door charger.  While I love the new challenger (they did a great job with it), challengers were never my thing.  I always wanted a '68 or '69 charger, and finally got a '69.  I would buy a modern two door retro charger faster than a guy on here will slam you for suggesting they build one, and that's pretty darn fast......   

Of course, it couldn't JUST be a two door version of what the '11 car looks like, it would have to have a '68 or '69 front end, proper dual scallops on the doors, be longer so they could put the front side markers on the fenders, and among other things, it would have to be offered in auto or manual tranny.  (heck, I'd even like a wing window, call me crazy....)
