SG1022

I took a trip today to Wildcat Wrecking in Sandy, Oregon today. It's an all MoPar , pre 80's, salvage yard with around 800 cars. http://www.wildcatmopars.com/index.html

Maybe I should post these in the, "Mopars in the wild" thread.
I ended up getting this license plate holder/light for my new Charger. I get the new Charger tomorrow night.  :2thumbs:
The part cost me $65.00

Here are some pictures I took from the trip.

In the display room.

Who needs quarter windows? Too bad the bondo is coming off   :eek2:

My Charger  :'(

Coronet front fenders?  :shruggy:

Pretty solid Challenger project.  :smilielol:

Anybody know what this fits? It's really long and narrow. Almost looks like it could fit the contours of a 2nd gen Cuda

I also saw this in the area.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. :2thumbs:

No problem!

I just realized, that Citron Yella Demon might be a Sizzler.  :o  I have found shockingly little information on the Demon Sizzler. . .

Can anyone point me to some info on it, and it's details? Or do any of you know anything about it? All of a sudden I want that car, bad.  ;)

GREAT pictures! Again, thank you for sharing. I love looking through pics like these  :drool5: I agree on the Demon, looks like a great project, almost doesn't belong with the rest of those cars! It would be great if you could get it . . .  :popcrn:

Did Sizzlers come with a 6 cyl? I know they came with 318s. I can't find any good info on it!  :P

Nice, maybe you could pick it up for a good price, love Citron Yella, same color as DMCL Charger which is one of my favorites

Ghoste

Awesome pics.  The Sizzler was essentially the Dodge version of the Duster Twister.  More of a stripe package than anything else and only available with the non hi-po drivetrain.

Thank you for taking and posting ALL of these pictures. We know that it takes time to do. I like your skills too. There were some in there that looked very artsy with creative angles and shadows. Whether by intention or accident, good job and thank you again!

bull

Yes, nice photography. :2thumbs: I go to Wildcat fairly often. Most of the time I just end up exploring rather than buying anything.

SG1022

Thanks guys!

It was intentional, but I was using my parents new camera. I wasn't very familiar with it.  :P

I have been wanting to get into photography for a while, but I just don't have the time or resources.

It took a good 30 minutes to get them onto photobucket.  ::)

There's still a bunch of pictures I want to go back and take.  I guess that means I will have to take another trip back there.  :2thumbs:  On a side note, they didn't have a single 2nd gen Charger there. Good!

if you are talking about the place in oregon, il that place is a joke

Mopar440+6

Did they have any pre-WWII vehicles there? I am looking for some specific 40's Plymouth parts and want to know if it's worth trying to get in touch with them...

Yup, a complete joke.  I went there once for some upper door pads for my 69 Charger.  Took them 2 hours to "dig them out" then they brought me two left doors.... and they wanted a crazy price for them.  Wasted a whole day.  They didn't know the price of the items until they pulled them out.  And they won't let ANYONE in the back.

gtx6970

Thanks for the pictures,

By Chance would you happen to remember if there were any 57 or 58 Chrylser 300 letter cars in there?

I need a hood and both ft fenders for a 1958

Dan T

I'm really surprised no 68-70 Chargers, those Dusters were making me cry, especially the 71.. :'(

i asked them for a set of quarters for the 67 and his idea of "rust free" means all rust covered with bondo.......

sorry guys....i really wasnt trying to hijack the thread....but i cant pass up an oppurtunity to bash on the loser who owns mopar city

:iagree:

I have tried a couple times to get parts from them... Only once did they have anything that we could agree on a price on and I still overpaid but they had it, and I wanted it and didn't want to wait... However, like others have said, they won't allow anyone into the yard, they don't return phone calls, they won't sell parts cars or restoration candidates, they won't give you the time of day...

I wish there was something they would do since I live about 15 minutes away from them...  :rotz:
