flush door lock knobs for a 69?

does anyone know of a good knob to use to go flush on a 2nd gen or really any muscle car? I'm wanting to get rid of the huge locks on the car and get some of the "button" style but does anyone know if id have to modify them at all or the little metal rod to make them fush?
