For quite a while it was looking like I wasn't going to be able to do this. Time is an issue and money is the big one (I have to lay out $500+ of my own money for this) but it's starting to look better now... I think. I have plenty of pictures.

Looking forward to seeing what you have selected.  :yesnod:

I have a high-rez version of the one I posted.  Let me know by PM if you need it.

Hopefully they will be running a better sale this year because right now they've got the wall calendars priced at $17.59 + 20% off for the next three days so that's $14. :o Last year we were paying $12 and change.

Dans 68

Come on, Curtis, we're all not that destitute.       $14 for a Charger calendar is fantastic, especially with the time and detail you inject into it. Oh, I'll take two, by the way....  :icon_smile_wink:

$14 is not bad at all considering it is only a $2 increase over last year.  Hell, by that percent, my dunkin donuts coffee went up way more than that percentage wise!

Yea, but I'm not going to be able to put as much time into this one so I hate to see the increase. And I won't be putting owner names in this time because that was a major hassle. It looks like there will be more cars in it though but with that comes smaller pictures. Maybe 2-3 per page instead of just one.

What pisses me off is that I meant to get an early start this year, and I did, but then time slipped away and I got distracted with summer projects and now here it is almost November already. :brickwall:

This year I think I'm just going to do flat rate shipping to the lower 48 states and then exact shipping elsewhere. It usually comes out even but keeping track of it all is a pain. I bitch too much, don't I?

If you need help send me a PM.

Thanks. I did manage to grab a couple of your pics; the ones with the girls working on the black 68. That is yours, right?

So Curtis, seeings how you're outnumbered @ your place too, will you post a chicks & Chargers calendar in the house?

Yes, but only because the pics I've got are of girls with most of their clothes on. My wife has already approved them for use. :icon_smile_wink:

14 bucks is not that bad, most Mopar calenders are very heavy on E-bodies.  I like E-bodies but I like Chargers much more so thanks for putting the time into doing a Charger calendar. Any idea when it might be ready ? I'd like 2 please.   :2thumbs:

Ummm, two weeks maybe? I'm not really on top of it this year.

chargerchick68

Hey,
Looking into the calendars this year. I bought one last year for my kitchen and would love another one, but really not interested at all in chick ones. Let me know what you ended up picking for pictures.
I guess there isn't too many young females with their own chargers out there looking for a calendar.

Thanks

bull

Well guys, it just isn't going to happen this year. I just don't have the time, money or desire to get it done and do it right. I apologize for getting your hopes up but when I started this thread I had every intention of completing the task. My new shift is playing hell with my family time and sleep habits and financially I just can't lay down the amount of cash it takes to order 50+ calendars and then juggle the shipping. I have to pay proper attention to the high priority parts of my life. Next time (if there is one) I may try putting the calendar out in July so I can avoid some of the holiday conflicts with family and money.

bakerhillpins

Sorry to hear but at the same time I can totally sympathize with you. Besides the 2 holidays and my never ending house projects we have 5 family birthdays over 3 weeks this time of year.   :eek2:

Maybe next!

Ok, fair enough. Bad shiftwork patterns are a grind.
Maybe an idea ( if you go ahead with it ) for next June is getting the dough in from all concerned before printing so you dont have to bankroll the whole gig.

I know all too well about what hell shift work plays.  I work 12 hrs shifts, two weeks of days two weeks of nights rotating days.  To add to that, I know all too well about money concerns towards the end of the year.  My first daughters birthday is Dec 19th, then Christmas, then my second daughters birthday, Dec 29th.  In july, we have my dads birthday the 10th, my wifes the 11th, mine the 22nd, and my sis in laws on the 27th.  Never any good time to catch up on money!

Dan's trying to talk me into having you guys order/pay through Shutterfly instead of me. I just emailed them a question about doing that and although I believe they can and will do that I can also tell you it will cost more. The last two years I did this I had them all sent to my house so I could preview the calendars and get a good bulk rate on shipping and overall cost. That's why they were around $15 rather than $20 or more. But I've pretty much had it with fronting $500 and then shipping 50+ calendars. I can defintiely use the extra $500 and the extra time around Christmas. ;D

I'm not complaining, I just seriously can't do it anymore. If Shutterfly will ship one or more calendars to individual addresses I will go ahead with it. Just be warned, the cost will be at least $5/calendar more than in years past.

Dans 68

I'll just skip a lunch so I can afford one this year.  ;)   Here's hoping that it will work.

Well, I guess this is why I hadn't done this in years past:

Customer (Curtis Smith) 11/08/2011 07:24 PM
If I create a calendar that as many as 50 friends and family want, is it possible for them to order them individually through Shutterfly and have each calendar sent to each individual recipient? In the past I have ordered all of the calendars myself and the cost and shipping kills me. I'd rather just design the calendar and have the others order them through you.

Response (Raje) 11/09/2011 05:36 AM
Dear Shutterfly Customer,

Thank you for contacting Shutterfly.

The service you mention is not one that we currently have available. We may offer it in the future, but have no immediate plans of doing so.

If you require further assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Dang them :RantExplode: I defiantly understand the fronting the money, exceptionally right here at Christmas. I hope someone or something would workout as I in if it does. Thank you for looking in to this :yesnod:

If it goes through I vote for both the chicks with chargers and another calender with the crusty barn find! one for the house and one for the office.... hell you can sign me on for 3 or 4 of each. i have plenty of walls... keep the dream alive please! thanks
Restoring a charger is like a saying I heard along time ago "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it".... Jesus I wish I could remember who said that...
