All my running lights turn on except for the headlights and the front lower running lights.
Are they on the same circut? All my fuses are good. Any advice would be great.

Headlights are non fused. But switch has internal breaker .Check headlight switch connector .Headlight ground wire on harness and bulkhead connection.check dimmer to see what happens on low or high position. The 68 harness running light are on in the middle park light position of switch and not the headlight position.later years front lamps stayed on in full headlight position

Howdy Old Timer, I am checking the switch connector to see if it connected all the way or is their a fuse on the connector? My dimmer dial is not working, could that be the problem???

The thumbwheel switch dims and brightens dash lights and turns on interior lights. If you dont see anything obvious wrong.Run power from battery direct to the headlights to see how they work.No fuse on headlights.switch has internal circiut breaker .You could also try unplug wiring from back of headlight switch. And insert 12 volts to the colored head light wires bypassing the switch. And see what happens

Hey DD, welcome! Same same on my 69, turned out the switch itself was bad. Bought a new one (PRICEY TOO) but haven't worked up enough steam yet to contort my big ass self under the steering wheel so I can change it out. There will be pain. :shruggy:
