Anybody sell reman ac heater cables for a 72?

I've looked through YearOne, Mega, and some of the Moparts sites, all I find are for non a/c cars. The one I junkyarded broke after I installed it(valve body locked up) fixed that but can't find another cable.

Any way you could use the inner core wire from a universal choke cable.And they sell those tools to coil up the wire on the end

Where would they have the cables, the only thing that comes to mind is like a lawn mower place and I don't think those would be long enough.

Maybe a roll of wire needle nose pliers and coiling pliers

a choke cable from an early 60's Vw microbus would be plenty long....i bought one years ago for my baja when i had a carb without an electric choke...

Did the VW cable thing(have enough left over for another!) had to crimp lead fishing weights to cables, connectors stripped sheathing off cables and then would slide instead of cable moving. Looks hokey but its under dash and out of sight. Thanks for all your advice, one problem down 6 mil. to go! Dave

Glad you got it fixed but sucks because I have the same problem (73 with AC).  I had the valve changed and it still wasn't working right because the 180 in the wire end got bent trying to move it with the stuck valve.  When I bent it back it of course snapped right off.  I found one on ebay a while back but didn't buy it.  Now I am kicking myself because all I have seen are non-AC cables since.  I will try to scavenge a used one or perhaps fix mine somehow.  The cable still moves okay.  Maybe I can attach a piece of paper clip to the end or something.

I bought new heater control cables from the dealer for my 73, Did you try there?

Did you have AC?  The non-AC cables are readily available.
