Anyone running the computer clean-up program called "System Mechanic"??

I'm using the 30 day trial version...seems to work well, cleaned up a lot of clutter and crap on my laptop

was wondering if the $45 or so per year was worth it or not if I decide to buy the program after my trial version runs out....  :shruggy:

I use a combination of "CCleaner" and "Cleanup!".  Both are free. CCleaner download and reviews: http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/  Cleanup! download and reviews:  http://download.cnet.com/CleanUp/3000-2144_4-10727454.html

Add to those the free program Malwarebytes. It's excellent. http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

Any CNET recommendation is a very solid place to start. I would also urge you to download AVG's free anti-virus program. With free Malwarebytes and AVG plus whatever "cleaner" you may chose will serve you well. Don't buy what you can use for free.
I would also suggest you delete you "history" files daily as well as "temporary internet files". Defraging your computer regularly will also enhance the performance of your machine.  :Twocents:
