73 charger Floor pan rust

Can I just cut out the rusted area and put a patch piece in its place or do I need to get a front floor pan?

You could just buy a portion of floor pan, they sell driver, passenger, front and rear pans so you can purchase the one you need and cut out what you want.  Looks like the whole pan might be bad..a lot of pitting so i bet it would look like swiss cheese if sandblasted.
