Two Mopars made the top 2 qualifying spots in Pro Stock today. Allen Johnson was #1 with a 6.978 @ 197.65 and V. Gaines was second with a 6.982 @ 197.02.  Obviously too early to start cheering now but the fact that it's the Mopar sponsored event on the NHRA pro schedule, I like Pro Stock, and there were lot of Mopar shout outs both in the ads of course and on air coverage (some nice vintage footage of Ronnie Sox) left me upbeat.

sox and martin was my favorite pro stock team when i was a kid growing up in the 70's.




i'd like to see erika enders win her first p/s event though.
