A/C without power steering, belt routing?

Finally getting around to putting air back in my '69. I went with the new style 134 compressor from Classic Auto Air. It just occurred to me that all the pictures or diagrams showing belt routing have power steering. Anyone running A/C without power steering? How did you route your belts? :shruggy:

Thanks, Rich

Mine has the Classic Auto Air system but also has power steering. I would think the belt routing would be the same with or with out air since the power steering system is on its own belt.  :shruggy:

Any pictures?? Because I thought the A/C belt also drives the alternator? What drives the water pump? I should clarify that I don't have the Classic auto air system, just the new style compressor/hose upgrade using factory parts for the rest of the system. Car was a factory air car.

A/C comp belt(s) (2 of them) drive the alternator

P/S belt is by itself

Water pump belt is by itself.

Hope this pic helps

Yes, that picture helps. I guess there is a tensioner  :scratchchin:  for the water pump then. I don't think I have that part...that explains alot. :slap:
Anyone have any pictures of that tensioner? :scope:

I pieced my bracket system together myself, so please don't think its 100% correct, but it works and looks like other BB's from the era.
Hope this helps,

Thanks guys, those pictures are great.  :2thumbs: I see the part I need now. Anyone know if that water pump tensioner is specific to 69, or is it a multi year piece?
