I like it. 70 Chargers have better options then the 68-69s. Just saw a plum crazy/black 70 Charger RT just today. Non SE and white interior though. Had the cool pistol grip shifter too.

To "restore" means to return to the original condition. Although I am NOT a fan of vinyl tops, this car deserves to be returned to factory stock condition. VERY striking color combo with the FC7 and black top.
Thank you for signing on. I'm looking forward to some progress reports!

Nice car - looks familiar.... :o   You have a twin, except mine isn't a SE.

Thanks Mike !!  I haven't been able to really find any R/T SE cars with the exact options. It's very very hard to put a price on the car. I have been offered a few different offers already, but I haven't jumped on any of them as I don't mind looking at it every morning when I get to the garage for the day.  :2thumbs:  I got the fuel tank/sending unit, new belts/plugs/wires for the car (kept all the old stuff other then the gas tank being it did not have one), So I will be getting it finished up next week so I can get some walk around running videos of it :)

Hi. I think I met you a couple months ago when you bought my Corvette and you were telling me about the car then? So you did get the car....wow,  if you got it for what you said you were gonna get it for then you stole it. Yeah you should at least tripple your money....lucky dog  ;D

I think you may have me confused with someone else !!! I'm in Hazleton PA, 18201. I haven't ever looked at/purchased a corvette though.  It looks as though a few people this past month+ seem to be finding 68+ chargers in barns/garages that have just been sitting.

Very cool.

It's hard to put a number on a car like yours due to wants.   I wound up spending a little more for mine than a regular RT, but this is what I wanted at the time.

Currently, I send out some requests to see how much mine is worth for selling purposes and I've been given many opinions with that have a variation of $20k.

Any chance you in the market for a trade + cash?

Mike,

It would all depend on the trade/cash offered/needed!

Shame really.
Would be a cool car to keep!
Hope the sale goes well.
Gotta love a '69

I think the prices they are throwing around on the other forum is a little out of line. If it brings 30k, you better take it and run all the way to the bank.

I'm guessing the ebay auction will make it to the mid 20's. Sitting for 32 years leaves a lot of rubber parts rotted, like brake cylinders, probably brake lines since it is in PA unless it's been inside the whole time. Gas line is probably gummed up too. Not hard fixes but it does take time and a few bucks.

It's definitley a nice car!  :2thumbs:
