I placed the on line order for the KB215 pistons at Mancini Racing last friday night, but by now I still haven't got any notice from them. On the previous 2 weeks also have been trying to contacting them throught the contact email they have and never got the answer about stock and shipping quote. Even this I decided to place the order since they state on website they allways carry Standart and 030 in stock ( guys I decided to keep standart... I won't cut 0.020 for just 0.0025. That bore gives me at least 70K miles more, like engine was never dissasembled and still running strong before actually needs a cut and rebuilt )

Untill now I never have got any answer of my previous request OR an answer of the order status. True I placed the order on friday night, but they work half day saturdays too.

Can I trust its being processed and shipped ?

Nacho,

They are technically in stock, but from KB.....KB just drop ships them.

They should be there by the end of the week, first of next week at the very latest.

Let me know when you get them.

Ive noticed its best to call mancini when you order...but for you that might be an issue with billing  :eek2:

Nacho-RT74

oh ok, so they shipp directly from manufacturer ?

yes, billing can be an issue just because try to explain how its the Venezuelan billing address

Will be great if they can forward to my email the tracking number to update to my forward courier, ALSO KNOW THE SHIPPING QUOTE... I guess no more than $15-18.

I got from them because they say in stock for standart, for a while Summit says would deliver in two weeks or so, If not I was bought from Summit ( just $10 in S&H charges )

WILL BE GREAT TO GET A FEEDBACK FROM THEM GRRRRR.

THANKS FRANK... as usual!

Quit E-Mailing them, pick up a phone & call 800-843-2821, talk to them, they are always willing to serve their customers, they are far to busy for every E-Mail reply...

Me too and "C" Rats from the Korean era and even WWll were used whan I was on active duty! :o  MRE's did not come around for a long time after I got out. I have tried some, though and they were OK, at best.

I'll take an old "C" rat box with a small pack of 20+ year old Camels, (this was 1967 in 'Nam) thanks!!! Cigarettes were $1.80 a carton back then in the PX. Ha !  Man, I guess I am an old fella!

I really hope this turns out great for you, Nacho.

My old man was in the Navy in 1973 and they still were issuing "C" Rats from 1943...

But the new MREs come with Milkshakes   :nana:

Stay away from the mac and cheese, that crap will back you up for a week and I wish I was kidding. My favorite was the stew.

As for extras, the peanut butter and crackers were always fought over. The coffee was total crap and I wouldn't even air drop it to the Taliban. Preferred the juice mix.

Hey Drache,   Even the old "C" ration boxes had varieties and their was a couple of "coveted" ones sent out. They were all put in a smallish box that contained about 3 cans of food and I use the term loosely. No heating elements or drinks of any kind and you used your "John Wayne"  (P-47 opener I think) to open the cans. All boxes had a 5-pack of cigarettes in them as well. Usually Camels, Lucky Strikes or Pall Malls and all were unfiltered that I got.

The few MRE's I tried (honestly don't know which ones as it was a while ago) left me underwhelmed, at best.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, Nacho, just to reminesce about "C" Rations.  Your information  and knowledge about our Chargers and, especially about electrical systems, is of great value on this board.

Rolling_Thunder

Thats OK in the Mac and Cheese...    just have the veggie omelet after       :o          The coffee is completely tar like.  The stews and ravioli were good...       and the jalapanos and cheese spread over the white crackers are the sh!t    :2thumbs:

LOL

There talking about the Meals Ready to Eat that you get in the military.

And i think your english in person might be better than your writing sometimes  :coolgleamA:

b5blue

Nacho let me know if you want ME to call for you. I can PM you with information if you do. I have ordered many times from Mancini and it is best to ask up front "Is this in stock right now, can you ship it now and give me a total for shipping." They must assemble the order then turn it over to shipping to get a total, a pain in the butt but they are good about doing it.
To further explain MRE is slang for "field rations" that military eat when away from a kitchen, like campers do when hiking in the forest.

Nacho-RT74

Yeap I got it, after a carefull reading about the food and military stuff, LOL

Frank, personally is one thing, over the phone is a diff thing. In person the corporal expressions helps a lot ;). not saying I can't, is just about comfort... specially when talking about money LOL.

If you can call on next hours to know the actual status will be great even better if some tracking available.

thanks b5blue for the offer!!! ;)

I wasn't aware of the Venezuela connection, I guess I should have looked closer... If you need the part & have a question, I would call them anyway (guess it would be costly) just make it brief...LOL... tell them your calling from outside of the U.S. they are very helpful, most all of the time... I've been dealing with & ordering from them for 20+ odd years now, they always seem to make it good...
