Anyone in the Appleton Maine area that could lend a hand?

Short story: Someone was lending a helping hand and introduced the Lawnmower to a rock which resulted in a bent crankshaft.   Unfortunately the blade clutch didn't absorb all the damage.

Found an exact replacement complete parts mower for $75 in Appleton Maine but can't get over there until the 7th of August when we are in the Rome area (Great Pond) celebrating the In-laws 50th. Seller isn't interested in accepting payment and holding on to the mower for the 2-3 weeks until I get there (understandable) and the 4.5hr one way trip before the 7th isn't possible with my current schedule.

I was hoping that someone could go purchase the mower and hang onto it until I can pick it up from them when I am in ME in August.  I would ovbiously send the funds (extra for time/expenses) ahead of time. All the mower has to do is turn over which it is supposed to do.
