Is it just me or does it seem like lately there are a lot of Superbirds with body color around the edges of the headlight buckets?

Nobody seems to put the black border down before the decal. Gives the car a eyelash look :Twocents:

I say lazy.....dosent take much research even before the internet to see they were not built that way.  :nana:
wingless now, but still around.

it actually makes me sad, seeing guys redo their cars like that. honestly, the car looks better without the blackout, than it does with the treatment that looks like you got it from a cereal box as a prize.

like the raffle bird

I like them with out the black out...just body color.  :RantExplode:  I guess it is kind of like the front bumpers..Seems like more people leave them off than on.

If you guys were around when these cars were new,you may think differently.I have seen more than one on dealer lots when new with body color showing.A local dealer had three at one time, all showed body color.I.m old enough to remember !! ;D

1/8 - 3/16 color showing isnt that bad factory orig mistake or restored .But that yellow raffle bird car 3/8 to a 1/2 or more to much color around the headlight area :Twocents:

Just out of curiosity, was there some purpose for the black decals look to achieve other than somebody's design creation and they thought hey, lets put those there?
