Interesting that on the AAR, there is a rear rubber bumper, but the front one is chrome bumper. Also note the wrong deck lid spoiler.

On the red AAR with the wrong spoiler, you can see it still has the orig trunk though,by the two holes next to the edge.
On a rubber bumper  AAR,you either had both front and rear,or it was available to have only one rubber with one chrome, have seen a few like that..But I can't remember if it was rubber front with chrome rear or the opposite. So,pictured may be correct.

Its also posible that a 40 year old car bumped something along the way and they replaced the front bumper with a chrome one.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .

Both rubber or front only in rubber. It also has an argent lower grill/valance insert.....should be black. May have got replaced after a minor smack.

I knew it was one way or the other just could'nt remember as its not to common, most that went for the rubber bumpers usually went for both.

Yeah def,the RR's body to me is not as nice as the 68,69's but the stripes and airgrabbers make up for it.Just as 71's and 72's.

AKcharger

ya' know just thinkin' out loud here but since these cars are so old it's getting more likely that a lot of "rare" cars people stumble across are just standard versions someone back in 1985 threw on a hood, some stickers and "shazaam" Original xxx car. and since those stickers/parts have had 25+ years to weather they "look" authentic...just sayin'

69 OUR/TEA

True,I agree, don't know about the red one,but not the orange one I posted, real, matching numbers legit.

The AAR is a real car.  It was in an accident sometime in its life and the front fenders, bumper, etc... was replaced.  The fiberglass hood is also missing.

Just wait til you guys see the next installment next week.

No Bill, thats why I wrote Stage1 Buick. It's a 70 GS 455 Stage1,Sherwood green, saddle interior, auto bench seat on the column.Buicks don't get alot of recognition, when there are actually less of those made vs the AAR cuda.Would have been proud to say it was a real GSX though.Have been looking for years for one in project form, they're out there but are'nt cheap when they only made 678 of them. And have to add the Buick crowd is just as tightly knit as the Mopar crowd, and those usually sell without even being surfaced.Mopars are my first pick, but followed tightly in second by Buicks.I'm not tunnel visioned into the "Mopar or no car" crowd.

Glad you like the website, and thank you for the offer.  Fortunately though I use all my own photography (except for Scott's pictures from the Daytona Find).  But I appreciate the offer.

No, someone died in that Duster.  I didn't feel right taking more pictures.  And the Charger didn't have anything on the other side, it had all been cut up.  This is about it below for pictures of it.  And a few more of the black Challenger that may have been run over by a tank....
