Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're

Beautiful car. I vote to keep as original as possible. Wheels and tires, maybe. Just detail it, replace what the factory didn't put on it, and show it. That one needs to stay in that condition.  :2thumbs: I'm envious.

On a side note, what's the story on the 'Vettes? '69 427? The other I can't tell.

The Chevelle is a pretty viable comparison, to my mind.  It is a green base model car with the smallest V8 available for the year with very low miles and it didn't scare up any interest at all on ebay at $15K.  And that year Chevelle is arguable more popular that a 3rd gen Charger at least to be a rock solid basis for an SS clone.

Plus I agree to keep it original, but to do what he wants with the car.  If he wants to swap a set of Magnum's on and off...off for showing the car as a survivor and on for the rest of the time...go for it.  Me?  That wouldn't interest me.  I'd do what I want with the car in the way of bolt ons and save the original parts, especially if I was keeping the car.

The Chevelle description said Vinyl stripes which means a removeable decal not painted on. As for your Charger I'd leave as original as possible except maybe new tires. LEON.
