Finally started my 69 up for the first time today! Came a long way since it was a stripped out shell 6 years ago. Wasn't even sure how the old 440 was going to run but it seems to be good. Nothing appeared to be leaking and really was surprised when I got it to idle right away. Really sounded awesome! Cant wait to get it out of the garage. I'll get some pics after that.

Good Job!  Keep us posted.  I found that making sure the float level in the carb is the next step in making sure you have enough gas.  All the little adjustments need to be made before you can go stomping around the neighborhood.  Take pictures along the way and post them later.

Cool! :icon_smile_big: nothing like it. My 66 pro-street charger went about 3 years without running. It started up so fast that it made me jump. I thought it would be hard to start after sitting for that long. I charged the 5 year old battery first. I was really surprised that the battery was and is still good.
